This September, Orcas Art Barn is pleased to present new work by Laura Yeats, a woodturner and artist whose practice begins where a tree’s life ends.
The exhibition will place a special focus on FUNCTIONAL art—beautiful objects created to be LIVED with and used. Alongside Laura’s hand-turned bowls, vessels, sculptural forms, the exhibition will include FURNITURE by Island woodworkers Mark Mayer and Matthew O’Brien, as well as a selection of vintage chairs from Smörgåsbord.
