Chamber Music Ensemble: Melodious Notes Over the Harbor Saturday, March 28th, 2026 at 7:30pm San Juan’s premiere chamber music ensemble, Melodious Notes Over the Harbor, returns for its 14th year and has a unique and diverse program with "one of a kind” chamber music selections. These pieces are performed by our amazing and incredibly talented northwest musicians who have been together as a group since 2017. Our musicians come from Bellingham, Oak Harbor and of course, Friday Harbor, lead by clarinetist and director Sue Collado. This latest edition has interesting and delightful pieces such as “Elegy” by Alexander Glazunov; “Quartet” by Bill Douglas; “Sonata” by Fernande DeCruck; “Cuban Rumba” by George Gershwin; "Five Pieces" by Dimitri Shostakovich; and “Sonata” by Edvard Grieg.
