EMS Talk on First Aid and Emergency Care Skills
Third Thursdays Supper & Lecture Series event focused on practical first aid and emergency care skills that can help save lives while Emergency Medical Services are en route. The evening will feature Assistant Chief T.J. Bishop of San Juan Island EMS, who will share clear, calm guidance on what to do in an emergency — including when to call 911, how to stay calm, and how to provide essential care until professional help arrives. The talk is designed for all ages and backgrounds, with an emphasis on confidence, preparedness, and supporting EMS in a rural island setting.
