Talley's Folly is a romantic comedy that unfolds in a Victorian boathouse on the Talley farm in Missouri during the Fourth of July. The play follows the courtship of Matt Friedman, a Jewish accountant, and Sally Talley, a young woman from a conservative Protestant family. Despite facing societal pressures and personal scars, they find love and acceptance in each other's company.
