Come join fellow Lopezians in supporting local artists and businesses for this recurring monthly event: First Saturday Art Walk from 5-7 pm. Come tour Old Hand, Skarpari, get drink and food specials at Blue Heron Bistro and Apizzapie food truck, and listen to artist talks, all free in the village!
5 pm: Artists talks at Lopez Library with exhibiting artists Dennis Caswell and Bryan Gooding. Both feature collages, altered books, and found objects in their fabulous works.
6 pm: Artist talks at Chimera Gallery in the show “Flights of Fancy” with Patty Savage and Ginny Bohannan with wonderful bird-themed artworks.
This month, in line with the date, the theme is May the Fourth Be with You, hence a Star Wars Theme. The library will have a movie marathon of Star Wars Movies 3-8, the original first three and the most recent ones showing in the Library Community Room.
