In this two-session class, we will make intuitive monotype prints to use as raw materials for dynamic hanging sculptures. We will play with layers and form, in both 2D and 3D media, transforming prints into art objects. Printmaking experience is encouraged but not required for this class.
This class is taught by visiting artist Erin Tyler. Erin has developed this class based onher art practice - this is the only time she will be teaching this here at Alchemy, so if you are interested, be sure to sign up!
This class is held in the print studio in the main art building on the AAC campus. Directions and parking information will be included in your confirmation email.
Dates: We meet for two 3-hour sessions in this class:
Thursday 5/15 and Saturday 5/17 from 1-4pm.
Registration: Please register early if you are able, as it helps us to assure that classes meet their minimums in order to run! If you register more than three weeks before this class begins, a 20% early bird discount will automatically be applied to your ticket at checkout.
