Orcas Island's dog park has a new name and location called Orcas Off-Leash Area located adjacent to Buck Park on Mt. Baker Road. The new OOLA has new advantages providing an overall larger area, separate sections for large and small dogs, on-site water, trees for shade, convenient parking, and management and maintenance oversight by Orcas Park and Rec. There will also be a fire hydrant-style water pumps, stone drinking bowls and some limited rain protection in both the small and large dog areas.
