This is a 4-Week class offered on Thursdays
Intermediate Wheel Throwing builds on our beginning wheel class, giving you more time on the wheel to practice and ask questions! This class is perfect for students who have taken the beginning class, or have had some experience on the wheel, but would like to continue cultivating their skills. If you'd like to learn more about throwing specific forms, glazing techniques, and have more time for personalized support, this is the class for you.
Included in the class is access to our Wednesday open studios (5-7pm) during the course, and one bonus open studio to finish up any glazing after all of the work has been bisque fired. All clay and glaze used during class is included- additional clay is available for purchase for creating new work during open studios.
This class will taught by local potter and glass artist Craig Britton, one half of the very talented team at Living Large Small. Craig is a patient and supportive teacher, and is excited to share his love and excitement for pottery with you!
Tuition assistance is available for Alchemy classes and workshops if finances are a barrier. Apply for tuition assistance here.
This class is held in the clay studio in the main art building on the AAC campus. Directions and parking information will be included in your confirmation email.
